After another exciting competitive dance season, the All That’s Dance & More competitive dance teams are gearing up to join all of the recreational dancers on stage at Barrie Central’s Fisher Auditorium for their 13th annual recital on June 3. The show will feature all of the schools dancers ages two to adult and will take place at 6 p.m. The competitive teams began their season in January with a warm-up performance for the seniors at Woods Park Care Centre. Their first competition took place in Detroit at the end of February where students took part in dance workshops learning from such well-known professionals as Twitch. Several students received scholarships for upcoming workshops and training seminars. Since that time the teams took part in competitions at venues in Oshawa, Whitby and Collingwood. The teams received a number of awards including Top Production and Top Hip Hop, along with teacher awards for choreography. Lindsay Buckley brought home the top solo mark for the Oshawa competition.
